Xavier's Journal for Humanities & Social Science

Xavier's Journal for Humanities & Social Science (XJHSS) seeks to provide a plateform for research discussion within the spheres of humanities and social sciences. The Journal publishes Research Papers on a wide range of topics of interest to the students and the scholars of humanities and social sciences. This journal focuses specifically on the issues of research applicability by encouraging the submissions that, in a concrete way, apply humanities, social science or critically reflect on the application of Humanities & Social Science. In the meantime, XJHSS seeks to promote a broad public discussion and synergistic understanding within the described scope of the journal that is essential for the advancement of research and promotion of the scholarly community.

  • The Research Papers of Members (Life/Annual) only be published.
  • The Annual Processing Charges of Rs. 1,500/- is mandatory for each contributor.
  • The subscription charges are for the print edition of the journal.
  • Subscription must be prepaid. Orders will be processed only upon the realization of full subscription amount.
  • Subscription rates for Journals are reviewed yearly and come into effect on 1st January for that year corresponding January to December subscription.
  • The right to amend/change access and subscription policies rests with the Publisher / Editor of the journal.
  • Indian Libraries/Institutes are required to place the order on the letter head of the institute.
  • Change of address of dispatch should be intimated at least 2 months prior to the dispatch schedule as per the frequency.

Payment Policy:

  1. Mode of Payment: At par cheque, Demand draft and RTGS.

    2. (Payment to be made through multicity cheque/ DD in favour of The Principal, St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi)

  2. Once the order is processed, fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  3. Rates and conditions are subject to changes and at the time of receipt of an order the latest rates and conditions are applicable.
  4. Rates outside India will include speed delivery charges.

Lost Issue Claims:

Please note the following when applying for lost or missing issues:

  1. Claims for print copies lost will be honored only after 45 days of the dispatch date and before publication of the next issue as per the frequency.
  2. Claims filed due to incomplete address or no prior notice of change of address will not be honored.
  3. Requests for refund will not be entertained.
